COURSE CHANGE!

 

The Le Grizz course along the west side of Hungry Horse Reservoir will be closed for repairs and repaving in 2010 and possibly 2011.

 

The course is being relocated to the East Side of the Reservoir for the 2010 running.  The brochure has been updated.  Most of the course will be on Road #38, where a gravelling project is scheduled to occur around the time of the event.  In addition, with the West Side Road closed, traffic will be heavier than usual.  Course layout is currently imprecise – expect adjustments.  Final details & map will be posted here.

 

Campgrounds listed under the Lodging/Services page have not been updated for this course, but Peters Creek, Canyon Creek and Riverside Campgrounds are all close to the start.  Murray Bay Campground is also close, but may be occupied by another event that weekend.

 

This is a great opportunity for past entrants to experience a little variety.  If the new course is well received and proves logistically practical, we may hold future events there on alternate years.
