Old Guy Division
In 1992, in response to the aging of repeat entrants, Le Grizz added Senior Divisions for Men & Women over 50 years of age. Since then the demographic trend has continued, and the Senior Divisions now usually comprise the largest of the three age groups. In addition, the number of male runners aged 60 and over has increased to the point where creation of a division for them has been suggested. That is not happening at this time due to considerations involving continuity of the historical record, fluctuations in number of entrants, absence of comparably-aged women, and increased award costs.
However, some form of recognition is in order, if at least to remember the best efforts of those who have since passed on the torch. So heres a complete list of the Retroactively Recognized Winning Old Guys (Men age 60+):
